Originating from Derbyshire, Amanda Dolby started her working life in North Wales by landscaping her own 2 acre mountainside plot. Here she developed a small exhibition and plant collectors nursery, earning several Gold Medals. Having trained at Pershore College of Horticulure, Dolbys is now based in the hills of the Chilterns.

So with the having lived near or on the Penines, Snowdonia, Malverns and the Chilterns Amanda finds much inspiration in the hills; favouring natural products and materials for both contemporary and traditional designs.  All designs use plants that grow with ease in their surroundings.

There's nothing truer than the saying "right plant, right place".
